What happens to my data if I disconnect MCP?
When you revoke MCP access from a client, that AI assistant can no longer access your MyCVBuilders account, but your resumes and submission data remain completely intact in your MyCVBuilders account. Disconnecting MCP only removes the connection—it doesn't delete, modify, or affect any of your existing resumes or data.

Why am I getting "Authentication Failed" errors?
Authentication errors typically occur when: 1. Your OAuth token has expired - Re-authorize the connection in your MCP client 2. You've revoked access in MyCVBuilders - Re-add the MCP connection through OAuth 3. Your MyCVBuilders session timed out - Sign in to MyCVBuilders and refresh the connection 4. Admin restrictions - Contact MyCVBuilders support Team for assistance. To fix: Remove the MyCVBuilders MCP connection from your client, then re-add it and complete the OAuth authorization flow again.
I'm getting HTTP 429 "Too Many Requests" errors. What should I do?
Currently, MyCVBuilders MCP has no strict rate limits. However, if you encounter HTTP 429 errors, it may be due to temporary throttling from excessive requests. To resolve this: 1. Wait a few minutes and try again 2. Reduce the frequency of your requests 3. If the issue persists, contact MyCVBuilders support for assistance.
My AI assistant says it can't find certain resumes. Why?
This usually happens when: 1. The resume was deleted or moved from its original location in your MyCVBuilders account 2. The resume is in different MyCVBuilders account than your connected MCP client 3. There is a delay in the synchronization between your MyCVBuilders account and the MCP 4.
